hi, i’m jim. i train ml models at dyna robotics. previously i studied math & cs at the university of florida (class of 2025).

i currently live in sf and am originally from des moines, iowa.

things i would like to do:

• produce an album
• ski in the alps
• hike mt everest base camp
• visit the international space station*

*apparently it only takes 10 minutes to reach the iss, but it takes 10 hours to dock. this is because the iss is not stationary. given that it orbits at 17,500 mph, it’s incredible that docking is possible at all.
